Privacy Policy
This policy covers the “Verinomi Tools” mobile app (iOS and Android) and the Verinomi services it connects to: Looking Glass, WHOIS, Speed Test, Mail Tester, Email Migration, NTP and Mirror. The Turkish version is the authoritative text.
1. Data controller

2. In short
- The app has no accounts, shows no ads and does no advertising or analytics tracking.
- The app does not access your contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera and asks for no permissions.
- The only thing the app stores on your phone is the language you choose. Queries and passwords you type are not stored; they are gone when the app closes.
- When you use a tool, the data that tool needs is sent to Verinomi servers. What is kept, and for how long, is listed per tool below.

Looking Glass and WHOIS

The query limit is applied per IP address.
Speed Test
During the test random data is sent between your phone and our server. This data is not stored; the result is shown only on your phone and is not recorded on the server.
Mail Tester

You decide what the email you send to the test address contains. We recommend sending a test message rather than real correspondence containing personal data. Anyone who knows a report's address can view it; sharing that address is your choice.
Email Migration

NTP
During a clock measurement your phone sends a standard NTP query to our time server. The server sees your IP address in that query; the address may be written to server records for statistics and abuse prevention.
Mirror
The app only reads the repository list and the traffic summary; it sends no data about you.
For all tools: server access logs
Every request is written to our servers' access logs with the IP address, date and time, the address requested and the app or browser identifier. These logs are kept for security and troubleshooting, for as long as those purposes require.
4. Legal bases
- Providing the service: data needed to run your query, prepare the report or perform the migration is processed to deliver the service you request.
- Legitimate interest: query records, limits and access logs are processed to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- Establishing and protecting legal rights: the Email Migration consent record is kept for this purpose.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires it.
5. Sharing of data
Your data is not sold, not used for advertising and not shared with third parties. It may be disclosed to competent authorities only where the law requires it.
Because of how the tools work, some technical queries go to other systems:
- The target you query: ping, traceroute, DNS and whois queries are sent from Verinomi servers to the target you enter and to the relevant name or whois servers. Those systems see Verinomi's IP address, not yours.
- Network information lookup: to show which network you connect from and which networks the addresses on a route belong to, Looking Glass looks up IP addresses in Team Cymru's public IP-to-ASN service over DNS. Your IP address is included in that lookup.
- Blacklist lookup: Mail Tester looks up the IP address of the server that sent your email in public blacklists (such as Spamhaus, SpamCop and Barracuda) over DNS.
6. Where the data is kept
The services run on Verinomi's own infrastructure in Türkiye (AS213274).
7. Security
Web connections between the app and the servers are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are not stored. Access to records is limited to authorised staff.
8. Children
The app is intended for network and system administrators; it is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Your rights
Under Article 11 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), and under the GDPR where it applies, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to have it corrected or erased, to object to processing and to claim compensation for damage. You can send requests in writing to the postal address above or through our contact page. Requests are answered within 30 days at the latest.
Because the app has no accounts, records can only be matched to you by IP address and time; please state the date, time and IP address of the query in your request.
10. Changes
When this policy is updated the new version is published at this address and the “Last updated” date is changed.
